About Me

I am currently a Post-Doctoral Visitor in the Department of Politics at York University in Toronto, Ontario. 

My PhD is in Sociology and I research in the fields of Labour Studies, Political Economy, and the Sociology of Work and Working-Class Culture. 

At York, I work with the Gender and Work Database, and as part of the Canada Labour Code Data Analysis Infrastructure research team and the Closing the Employment Standards Enforcement Gap project studying employment standards compliance and enforcement in Canada. 

I also write a weekly newsletter at Passage called “Class Struggle” about labour, unions, and social policy. You can sign up to receive copies and read past issues here.
